Christina’s Story
Survivor to Healer: My Journey to Creating RavensWillow
In 2015, I survived a brutal assault at the hands of my then-boyfriend. Newly divorced with two young children, I found myself completely alone—without friends or family nearby, and with no financial security. The struggle to provide for my children while navigating relentless court battles over finances and custody felt insurmountable.
I longed for healing. I read about practices like yoga, Reiki, and equine therapy, but the reality was, I couldn’t afford them. I had no time, no childcare, and no access to the very resources that could have helped me rebuild.
Over the past ten years, I have worked tirelessly to pull myself out of debt, secure the therapy my children and I needed, and bring horses back into our lives. I’ve confronted the injustices of my first marriage, unraveled the impact of generational trauma, and transformed my pain into purpose.
RavensWillow is the result of that journey—a sanctuary for those who, like me, desperately need support but may not have the means to access it. It is my way of giving back, ensuring that no one has to feel as isolated and helpless as I once did.
If my story resonates with you, I invite you to connect with me. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk this path alone.
